Dr. Sarah Heinemann, DVM and Dr. Joanna Henderson, DVM are the owners of Beyond The Rainbow Pet Hospice & Memorial Center. We work with the pet parents throughout the entire home hospice, euthanasia, and final arrangements process. You will have the opportunity to speak with one of us when you call, text, or email Beyond The Rainbow.
Dr. Sarah Heinemann, DVM
Sarah Heinemann, DVM graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 where she earned both a Biomedical Science degree and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. In addition to Beyond the Rainbow, she works in Emergency Medicine. She lives with her husband, her two young daughters, and her Doberman Pinscher, Circe. She also loves watching a fish tank of African cichlids. She enjoys clean house design, working in her yard, playing the piano, reading, as well as spending time with her Doberman. She maintains an active lifestyle and keeps her Doberman busy with conformation, obedience, lure coursing, dock diving, and scent work.
Dr. Joanna Henderson, DVM
Joanna Henderson, DVM graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 where she earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. In addition to Beyond the Rainbow, she works in Emergency Medicine. She lives with her husband and her young son. She enjoys forgetting to weed her rose garden, reading old sci-fi novels, and maintaining a love/hate relationship with her backyard chickens. The love of her life is a perfect-in-every-way pug named Madeleine, who passed away in 2016 and still holds a piece of her heart. She currently is the servant of two dogs - Edwina and Harriet, and a Sphynx cat - Margot.
