Kate and Terry were two of just 53 participants in the program, which was developed by some of the top pet loss experts in North America to help pet loss professionals increase their companies´ professionalism and better serve their communities. Educational sessions covered a wide array of topics, including best practices for serving families grieving the loss of a pet, legal issues, crematory operations, administration, social media and more.
Participation in the program makes KATE MOORE and TERRY BRANSON Certified Pet Loss Professional´s.
Kate serves as the co-chair of the Education Committee for the PLPA and Terry serves on the Standards and Ethics Committee.
Founded in 2009, the PLPA is dedicated to providing education and opportunities for professional growth for providers of pet-related death care services. It is a committee of the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association.
